Every ten years or so since Zyuranger there is a new dinosaur themed Super Sentai show. Superheroes + dinosaurs + robots is a winning combo so hurrah to them all. Regardless of which version (Power Rangers or Sentai) you are more familiar with.

Mesogog was a cold, calculating, maniacal, evil son of a bitch. Unlike the other villains who were simply trying to take over the world, Mesogog was trying to return it to the age of the dinosaurs. He would do whatever it would take, including basically killing his own host and destroying any inkling of his son.
